Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 (Windows)
If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 as your internet browser (the program you use to surf the net), follow these directions to make Picture Surfing Web Sites your home page so you can return to this site easily. These instructions are based on Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 and are believed to work for other 5.x versions but are not guaranteed. For additional help, you can try clicking on the Microsoft Internet Explorer "Help" menu: select "Contents and Index", click on the "Index" tab (in the upper-left part of the window), type in "home page" and then click the "display" button near the lower-left part of the window.

SIMPLEST PROCEDURE

  3. Select the "General" tab (if it is not already selected).
  4. Under "Home page", near the top of the window, click on the "Use Current" button (if you don't see the button, or this procedure does not work for you, continue with the alternate procedure below).
  5. Click "OK".
RESULT
  1. The web page you were viewing when you started this procedure will open up automatically when you start your web browser (connect to the internet) or when you click on the "Home" button (near the top of the Internet Explorer window).

ALTERNATE PROCEDURE

  1. Follow Steps 2 - 3 above (from the "Simplest Procedure").
  2. Under "Home page", in the rectangular box just to the right of the word "Address", delete the current address and then type in "http://PictureSurfing.com" (without the "  ")
  3. Click "OK" .
RESULT
  1. The web page that you typed into the "Address" box, for example, "http://PictureSurfing.com", will open up automatically when you start your web browser (connect to the internet) or when you click on the "Home" button (near the top of the Internet Explorer window).
